Round logs and sawn sizes

Everything we sell is teak. We import the logs ourselves and saw them in Gandhidham.

Teak round logs

Plantation teak shipped in sealed containers from the Americas and landed at Kandla, a few kilometres from our yard. Every log is numbered and tagged at origin, so you can pick logs one by one or take the full container.

Imported teak, without the paperwork.

Getting set up to import timber yourself takes registrations, certificates and customs work for every shipment. We already do all of that. You buy imported teak from our yard the same way you would buy local wood, at wholesale rates.

Who runs Man Impex

Owner

Husamuddin Latiwala

Husamuddin Latiwala has spent more than 50 years in the wood and timber trade. A commerce graduate who also cleared CA Intermediate, he built his business through good years and hard ones, and it has grown into a group of family timber firms in Kutch.

He was among the first timber exporters, and his name is known across Gujarat, in other states and in international markets. Over the years he has also supplied and supported government bodies and religious organisations in their work.

Niranjanlal Sharma is a well-known textile manufacturer and trader based in Mumbai. Over a long career in the cloth market he has run several manufacturing and trading businesses, and he brings that experience to Man Impex.

Mohammed F. Rangwala

Mohammed co-founded Man Impex in 2021 and co-owns the business. He is also an application developer with more than six years of experience building web applications in React and .NET on Azure and AWS.

He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington and a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from MIT Pune.
